"Thanks for the day yesterday. I learned a lot and I'm looking forward to my new system of organization!" Jeff Amram, Portland, Oregon
Many photographers have found that Adobe Lightroom 2 is all the image editing program they need. Before you open your copy of CS4 you might want to attend this one day workshop and find out just what LR can do for you. By the end of the day you'll know what the program can do and whether you need anything else.
The Lightroom program is divided into two main parts: image management and image manipulation. By far the more important of the two, and what LR excels at, is image management. This workshop will bring you up to speed on how to import and manage your images, establishing a working method that will stay with you throughout your photographic career.
Topics Covered:
Personalizing LR
Developing a Workflow
Using the Library Module
Importing photos
Working with Catalogs
Working with Collections
Working with Metadata
Renaming and moving images
Renaming and moving file folders
Keywording images
“I wish I hadn’t spent so much money on books about LR; your workshop was cheaper, better, and far more learner-friendly!”
–Gene Tonry, Portland, Oregon
