About the Workshops
What does it take to be a photographer? A camera? A client?
Quite simply, a photographer is someone who photographs. Not necessarily
every day, but consistently. Someone whose heart is into the creation of
new images. Who experiences the joy of sharing his or her vision with
friends and family.
For those of us who share in the joy of creating with the camera, there are
no professionals, no amateurs. We're all in it together, some of us have
just been walking the road a little longer, and some a little faster.
I learned to be a photographer from Rodger and Cornelia Davidson, Frank and
Daughtee Rogers, and many others who graciously, and generously, shared
their life-long love of the medium (see also "About Steve Anchell").
I, in turn, have devoted most of my
career to sharing what I know of the craft with others, like yourself.
