How to Create Gallery-ready JPEG Images
Students of Steve Anchell's photography workshops can submit images for their own galleries on this site. Rules and instructions follow.
Rules and Guidelines
- All files must be 8-bit RGB (color) or grayscale (black and white) JPEG files.
For information on how to create gallery-ready JPEG files, click here.
- Each student may have one gallery per workshop. No more than 12 images are permitted per gallery.
- All images in a gallery must be from a Steve Anchell workshop.
- Galleries will be displayed for a period of one year from the time they are first created.
- Steve Anchell reserves the right to reject or remove any images.
Instructions
- If you want a title to appear along with your image, include the title text in the IPTC Caption field within the JPEG file. For those of you
using Photoshop, this field is labeled 'Description' in the File Info panel or in the IPTC section of the File Browser Metadata palette.
- If you want images to appear in a certain order, include a number at the start of the file name to indicate that order. For example: 01-rocks.jpg,
02-trees.jpg, 03-stream.jpg.
- In your submission e-mail, include:
- Your name as you want it to appear on the gallery pages.
- The name of the workshop in which you created the photos you are submitting.
- Your web site address (optional). If provided, it will appear on your gallery pages.
- Send all information and image files to this address: sitesjg@earthlink.net. This address does
not belong to Steve Anchell. To contact Steve, refer to the information on the Contact page.
